Bin Tipping & Filling
Place empty boxes on each lifting platform. The PLC based control system rotates the empty box 80 degrees up to the end of the top of the conveyor. A photo eye sensor detects products loading and gradually lowers the box back into the level position. The top conveyor automatically reverses and completes the sequence again for the following box.
Can be used for potatoes, carrots, onions, parsnip and other roundish produce. 4′ by 7′ long boxes are filled using a PBF – 30 DL utilizing a traveling cross conveyor with tip down end to minimize the drops into the box.
